How fast will you deliver my letter

Most drafts finish inside a minute. Almost every buyer is holding a printable PDF within ten minutes of finishing the intake form.

The timeline in normal use

  1. Intake form: three to five minutes to fill out
  2. Free preview: the AI draft appears in about 30 to 90 seconds
  3. Checkout: under a minute
  4. Payment confirmation: two to ten seconds after Stripe redirects you back
  5. PDF download: immediate, starts automatically

That is about ten minutes total.

What can slow it down

  • Insurer identity is unclear. If we do not have your insurer's appeals address on file, the preview still generates but the address block on the PDF may show a placeholder. Fixable, see The insurer address on my letter is wrong.
  • Denial letter attachment is a photo, not text. Photos work but take a few extra seconds to read.
  • Stripe payment confirmation is delayed. During peak hours Stripe can take up to a minute to send the confirmation webhook. The download page waits automatically. You do not need to refresh.
  • Your PDF viewer is opening the file, but slowly. Large PDFs (evidence packets on the $199 tier) can take 20 to 30 seconds to open in Preview on older machines. Give it a moment before assuming the download failed.

What "delivery" means for each tier

  • $49: one PDF, the appeal letter
  • $99: one PDF, appeal letter plus second-level template plus evidence checklist
  • $199: one PDF, everything above plus external-review packet and state DOI cover sheet

Every tier is one file, downloaded once, saved to your device. There is no email delivery step by default. If you want a copy emailed to you as a backup, use the "Email me a copy" checkbox on the download page.

Post-download

The insurer's clock does not start when we deliver the PDF. It starts when the insurer receives your signed letter in the mail (or when their portal timestamps your upload). We recommend certified mail, which usually takes two to five business days to reach the insurer's appeals office. See How to send by certified mail.

If the download does not start

  • Open the download page directly from the link in your confirmation email
  • Try a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox all work)
  • Check your Downloads folder before assuming nothing happened
  • See I can't download my letter for the full checklist

If you are still stuck ten minutes after paying, email support with your appeal ID (the long string in your download URL) and we will deliver the PDF manually.
